Synopsis

The Labhan community, traditionally working in stone mines, has remained uneducated and isolated for generations. Jana, a determined mother, dreams of a better future for her son, Ganya, and sends him to school despite opposition from her husband, who believes survival depends on children earning for the family. When Jana tragically passes away, Ganya is forced to work in the mines. Struggling with his new reality, Ganya begins to understand his mother’s vision. Moved by his son’s dilemma, Ganya’s father makes a life-altering decision to send him back to school. What lies ahead for them is uncertain, yet hopeful.
