NELLIER KOTHA ( THE NELLIE STORY)

Synopsis

Rajiv Pator, a PhD candidate at Gauhati University, visits the Muslim dominated, remote villages of Nellie to look into the events leading up to the massacre of Muslims on February 18, 1983. His objective is to discover the truth about what transpired. When he visits the site, Nellie, forty years after the massacre, he discovers that the Muslims who died in the massacre are hardworking individuals who have made efforts to integrate with the Assamese community.
